Dear Ms. Siriporn Skrobanek :
My name is Hsing mei-han whose nationality is Republic Of China (Taiwan). I had worked for Vietnamese Migrant Workers and Brides Office in Taiwan as a case worker and left since 2008.6, After I'vd gone though career reflection deeply, I finally recognize that I want to carry on humanitarian work and learn more.
In order to pursuing this goal and understanding people's culture and experience as marriage immigrants or migrant workers who I've helped in Taiwan, I want to be a volunteer and work in South-east Asia country for a long-term period (at least one year).
Out of the passion to work effectively, I ask Peter Nguyen Van Hung for advice to find a organization which serves for refugees or victims of human trafficking and also focus on team work, effective helping and problem solving orientation. He replied me right away and said he knows one organization which is namely " the foundation for women" in Thailand and Ms. Matthana Chetamee's e-mail address. Therefore, I wrote a letter to Ms. Matthana Chetamee for asking volunteer opportunity few days ago. She warmly replied and directed me to you.
Now I work as an administration stuff in the marriage immigrants' social welfare center which is managed by Taiwan government and local charity. In this position, it expands my understanding why my work at VMWBO was so effective, and I also gain the concrete picture of working under the control by government and local charity. However, I would like to struggle for being better.
Therefore, it's very grateful to know whether FFW have a volunteer vacancy next year or not.
I will learn basic Thai language before departure and during volunteer.
I can afford my own personal expanse and travel fee for one year.
I hope that I am allowed to sleep and eat with shelter in small budget. That will be perfect because I would rather be thrifty.
Thank your for any reply.
meihan
